Paraguay: Rohölreserven von 1 Milliarde Barrel bestätigt

Asunción: Eine unabhängige Prüfung der seismischen 2D und 3D Studien, die President Energy (PE) in Auftrag gab um die genauen Bohrpunkte im Pirity Areal im paraguayischen Chaco auszuloten, bestätigt Rohölreserven von 1,09 Milliarde Barrel.

In besagtem Areal sollen in zwei Monaten die Bohrarbeiten an drei Stellen beginnen. Bis jetzt ging das Ministerium für öffentliche Bauten und Kommunikation nur von der Existenz von 150 Millionen Barrel aus, was laut einer älteren Hochrechnung den nationalen Verbrauch auf etwa 30 Jahre gedeckt hätte. Nach der Ankündigung stieg die Aktie von President Energy an der Londoner Börse um 8,2%.

Peter Levine, Präsident des britischen Unternehmens, versicherte dass diese Resultate sehr positiv sind und die Gelegenheit zeigen, dass dies eine neue Provinz zur Erdölförderung in der Region werden kann. Seit dem vergangenem Jahr investierte PE mehr als 30 Millionen US-Dollar in die Erkundung des Areals. Weitere 70 Millionen US-Dollar sollen bei der Perforation im Chaco aufgewendet werden.

    Were kann mir dieses erklaeren? Warum ist es per Hectar. Wieviel wuerde es dem Land einbrigen?

    CANON, ROYALTIES AND TAXES
    Article 41 – With exception of taxes, the prospection and the exploration activities are exempted
    from any government and municipal taxes, including the request of prospection permits
    and of concession, as well as the respective contracts.
    Article 42 – During the exploitation period the concessionaire shall pay to the state the following:
    a) An initial tax of US$0.30 (thirty cents of an American dollar) per hectare;
    b) A yearly exploitation tax per hectare as follows:
    From the 1st to the 5th year US$0.20
    From the 6th to the 10th year US$0.60
    From the 11th to the 15th year US$1.60
    From the 16th to the 20th year US$2.00
    Article 43 – During the exploitation period the concessionaire shall pay the state the following
    royalty on the gross production of crude petroleum:
    a) From a hundred (100) daily barrels up to 5,000 (five thousand) barrels per day, 10% (ten
    percent);
    c) From 50,001 (fifty thousand and one) barrels per day, from then on 14% (fourteen percent).

  2. Wie der ex president franco im jahr 2012 sagte das im jahr 2013 viel oel vom chaco komen wurde;ist da ueberhaupt wasser?Als die sintflut mal war regenete es nur knapp 2 zoll im chaco,wenig hoffnung fuer oel.
